It worked from time to time, but wasn't so dependable any more. So I found a deal on the exact same part number from a junkyard and installed it. So I found a similar radiator mount in a junkyard and removed the front end radiator mount and cable harnesses and replaced it with a nice straight one and redressed. Now these SSC modules are sold all the time on eBay and from junkyards.
Is it not possible to replace like for like parts even using the dealers ECM tool? I cannot find many details on this subject. Is there just not any way to get a good, used SCC module to integrate into my car? I put the old one back on and it worked for a short drive. We'll see if it will stays on next time.
